The Valley High School varsity baseball team will host Indianola on Friday, July 17, to begin Class 4A Substate 2 play. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
A livestream will not be available, but fans can follow live stats on GameChanger and listen to a broadcast of the game on 1460-AM (KXNO).
Much like the regular season, Valley will follow similar procedures for spectators at baseball and softball postseason games:
Each team member and coach in uniform has been provided two tickets to purchase admission to this game. Tickets cost $6. Passes will not be accepted. Approximately 100 fans will be allowed into the complex beyond the ticket voucher system.
Fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs in the event the bleachers meet capacity.
Valley Baseball & Softball Stadium Entrance
All baseball and softball players, coaches, fans (home and visiting), and crews will enter through the complex’s south entrance, as presented in the below aerial image. This is the only entrance that will be available for use during games.
Please file in a single line and respect social distancing while waiting and entering into the complex.
Seating & Facility Operations
Signs providing practice and game safety guidelines for players, coaches, can be found throughout Valley’s baseball and softball facilities. Additional informational materials encouraging social distancing and highlighting other safety measures have also been placed in designated spots throughout the complex.
