ORIGINAL POST: The Valley High School varsity football team will face Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln on Friday, Oct. 23, in the second round of the Class 4A Iowa high school football playoffs.

Only spectators who received a voucher from a member of the Valley varsity football program or cheerleading squad are able to purchase admission for Friday’s game. Tickets for playoff football cost $6. Here is what Tiger fans need to know in advance of Friday’s game against Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln:
COVID-19 Protocols, per Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln
- All fans must wear a face covering when entering, exiting, and moving around the complex. They can be removed when socially distant from others while seated.
- All students must wear a face covering at all times, including in the student sections.
- Each visiting participant will be allowed three fans to attend. A list will be provided for the ticket gate.
- No fans will be allowed inside the playing field fence.
Spectator parking is located directly to the north or east of the stadium. All spectators are asked to enter the Gale Wickersham Athletic Complex at the 16th Street and Avenue J entrance, and head straight (west) to the spectator parking areas.
The ticket booth is located in the northeast corner of the stadium. Spectators will not be allowed to re-enter the game if they choose to leave. Please advise that the swimming pool lot is for overflow only and is about a three-block walk to the ticket building.
Visitors seating and sideline will be on the east side. Fans are asked to social distance. Valley will warm up on the south end of the field. Spectators will not be allowed on the track surface.
The concessions and restrooms are located in the northwest corner of the stadium, on the home side. The concession stand faces the home bleachers, and the restrooms are in the rear of that building. There are family restrooms located in the ticket building as you enter.
All concession items will be pre-packaged. Concessions will close at the start of the fourth quarter.
