UPDATE: The Valley High School varsity boys’ swimming and diving team won the Jim Voss Invitational at Cedar Rapids Washington on Saturday, Jan. 16.

The Tigers’ next meet is Tuesday, Jan. 19, when they travel for a JV-varsity dual against Johnston at Summit Middle School. The action is set to start at 5:30 p.m.

ORIGINAL POST: The Valley High School varsity boys’ swimming and diving team will travel to Cedar Rapids Washington on Saturday, Jan. 16. The action is slated to start at 12:30 p.m.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic and Cedar Rapids Washington’s protocols, no spectators will be allowed to attend the event. A livestream of the meet will be made available.

Competing teams at Saturday’s meet include:

  • Bettendorf
  • Cedar Rapids Washington
  • Des Moines Lincoln
  • Johnston
  • Valley

All swimmers and coaches need to wear a face masks as they enter the facility. Masks will always need to be worn in and around the facility. Swimmers will be able to remove their masks when they are in the pool.
