The traditional state wrestling meet is Feb. 18-20 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The first round of 3A action will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, precautions and attendance restrictions will be put in place, according to the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA). To meet these requirements, face masks and social distancing will be enforced, with roughly 4,000 tickets per session available this year. Additionally, cheerleaders will be unable to attend the state traditional tournament as event performers due to space limitations.

Livestreaming and TV options will be available for fans unable to attend the state meet.
